Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refund, Cancellation & Exhibitor Participation Policy for GREENS Expo & Summit 2026

This Refund, Cancellation & Participation Policy applies to registrations, delegate passes, workshops/sessions, add-ons, exhibitor participation, sponsorship participation, and related services booked through the GREENS – Global Recycling Expo & Summit 2026 website and related channels operated by Salt Alliances.

1. General Policy

All payments made towards delegate passes, workshops/sessions, add-ons, exhibitor participation, sponsorship participation, and related event services are subject to the terms outlined herein.

By submitting a registration, booking, application, or payment, the participant/exhibitor acknowledges and agrees to be legally bound by this policy and any additional event-specific terms issued by Salt Alliances.

2. Delegate Passes, Workshops & Add-Ons

All payments made for:

  • Delegate passes
  • Workshops/sessions
  • Event add-ons
  • Related attendee services

are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under all circumstances.

Once a registration or booking has been confirmed:

  • No cancellations will be permitted.
  • No refunds will be issued.
  • Registrations and passes cannot be transferred to another individual, organization, or entity.

3. Postponement or Rescheduling

In the event GREENS is postponed, rescheduled, or shifted to revised dates, all registrations, passes, workshop bookings, exhibitor participation, sponsorship participation, and add-ons shall automatically remain valid for the revised dates.

No refunds shall be issued due to postponement, rescheduling, venue changes, layout modifications, or date changes.

4. Event Cancellation

In the event of complete cancellation of GREENS by the organizers, all payments made shall remain non-refundable unless otherwise determined solely at the discretion of Salt Alliances.

Salt Alliances shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses including travel, accommodation, logistics, shipping, marketing, production, staffing, or business losses incurred by any participant or exhibitor.

5. Taxes & Payment Charges

Any applicable taxes, GST, payment gateway charges, convenience fees, bank charges, currency conversion fees, transaction processing charges, or similar charges are non-refundable.

All payments must be made free of deductions and transfer-related charges.

6. Exhibitor & Sponsorship Participation Terms

Exhibitors and sponsors are governed by separate participation terms, application conditions, exhibitor manuals, venue regulations, supplementary regulations, and contractual obligations issued by Salt Alliances.

By applying for participation, exhibitors and sponsors agree to comply with all such applicable terms.

6.1 Booking Confirmation & Payment Obligations

Submission of an exhibitor application form or booking request does not automatically guarantee participation or allotment.

Participation shall be confirmed only upon acceptance by the organizers and receipt of applicable payments.

The standard payment schedule is:

  • 50% payment at the time of confirmation
  • Remaining balance payable on or before the notified due date

Failure to comply with the payment schedule may be treated as cancellation and may attract applicable cancellation charges.

6.2 Exhibitor Cancellation & Refunds

In case an exhibitor or sponsor explicitly cancels participation after confirmation:

  • The booking amount already paid shall stand forfeited.
  • Any remaining applicable cancellation charges shall remain payable.
  • No refund shall be issued for any amount already paid.

Reduction of stall size, withdrawal of participation, non-utilization of allotted space, or failure to attend shall also be treated as cancellation.

6.3 Force Majeure

If the event is curtailed, postponed, rescheduled, relocated, modified, or cancelled due to force majeure circumstances or causes beyond the control of Salt Alliances, including but not limited to:

  • Acts of God
  • Government advisories or restrictions
  • Public health risks
  • Regulatory intervention
  • Natural calamities
  • Power failures
  • Strikes or labour disputes
  • Civil disturbances
  • Elections
  • Venue non-availability
  • Fire, accidents, or emergencies

the exhibitor or sponsor shall not acquire any right to terminate participation or claim refunds, damages, compensation, or losses.

Participation charges already paid shall remain non-refundable.

6.4 Space Allocation & Organizer Rights

Exhibition space allotment, floor plans, access points, layouts, and stall positioning are subject to organizer discretion and may be modified at any time for operational, safety, technical, regulatory, or venue-management reasons.

The organizer reserves the right to:

  • Reallocate stalls
  • Modify layouts
  • Relocate entrances/exits
  • Adjust stall dimensions or orientation
  • Deny or revoke participation

if deemed necessary for efficient event management or due to breach of applicable terms.

6.5 Non-Compliance & Financial Dues

The organizer reserves the right to suspend, deny, or terminate exhibitor participation if:

  • Payment obligations remain pending
  • False or misleading information is submitted
  • Venue regulations are violated
  • Safety guidelines are breached
  • Applicable participation terms are violated

The exhibitor may still remain liable for full participation charges and damages where applicable.

7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Any unauthorized chargeback, payment reversal, or payment dispute initiated after successful registration or booking may result in:

  • Suspension or cancellation of participation
  • Denial of entry/access
  • Withholding of exhibitor credentials, badges, or benefits
  • Legal recovery proceedings where applicable
  • Blacklisting from future events

8. Organizer Rights

Salt Alliances reserves the right to:

  • Modify or revise this policy at any time
  • Issue supplementary regulations
  • Introduce operational or safety requirements
  • Update participation rules without prior notice

Continued participation or use of event services shall constitute acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Jurisdiction

This policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in Ahmedabad city of the Gujarat state in India.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to participation in GREENS shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts therein.
